Corría el año 1992 cuando
escribí este cuento en castellano. Luego, y debido a que me gusta mucho este cuento, lo rescataría en 2007 para traducirlo al Inglés.

A WALKER HAT
Once
upon a time on a cold windy morning, a man with a grey hair bear decided as
always, go for a walk around the city. He always wear an old leather green hat.
So he close the door, leaves his house and started to walk without direction.
Suddenly, the wind began to blow so heavily that while he was walking he lost
his hat, but he didn’t realised so he continued walking. Meanwhile the hat was
thrown on the ground and nobody took it. Suddenly the hat begin to walk, he
decided to go and find his owner, but he couldn’t find it, so he realise he was
free to do what he wants and to move and not to be hanged every single day. So,
he decides to visit Madrid. He
took the subway to get to the centre and visit the museums. He left the subway
and while he was waiting to cross the street to get to the museums, a man who
saw it, put him on the bin, he tried to escape but he couldn’t , he get very
angry, so he jump out of the bin and continue walking along the street. He
always wanted to travel around Europe.
So, he went to the airport and flown to Berlin,
cause was one of his favourites cities to visit. Although, there was a problem,
he didn’t know how can he get to the airport. He decide to take a taxi that can
drive him to the airport. So he took a taxi, got to the airport and flown to Berlin. He got to Berlin, and while he was waiting at
the bus station, to get the bus to go to the centre, someone stepped on his
head, he got very angry and started to shout but he continued walking. When he
was visiting the city, it started to rain heavily. Despite, he got dirty and
dampt, he continue with the visit. The he was so tired that he decided to stop
for a while, he saw a place to protect him from the rain and where he can relax
himself. Was so tired that he fall asleep. Suddenly, while he was
sleeping a young lady took him to her house, the lady wanted him as a present
so he washed and cleaned him. At fist, he didn’t realise where he was but when
he saw he wanted to leave, he tried to escape because he didn’t want to live
with the lady, cause he want to feel free. But he notice that he was better
there than everywhere, so he decide to stay. He thought that was better to feel
free and do what you want in order to be hang every single day. But a part from
that you don’t get damage and nobody can step on your head, so he lives with
the lady for ever.
